Unfortunately, there is a lot of school work I am going to have to be doing during the week while I am in Paris. If you look at the itinerary page, you will see what I mean... Lots of day trips with the group to see touristy things and lots of school work. Also have essays each week to turn in.
The good news?
I know the titles of the books. And I know that I am going to have to write reading responses to them as part of my homework. I also have a month before I will be leaving. ...see where I'm going with this? I could always just get a head start on my readings rather than waste valuable Paris time... :)
I'm still pulling out the little places mentioned in Leroux that I'd like to include and I'll need to map out. I also want to connect any other versions I can get involved, so this will be the fun part. I love digging for details! It should also be interesting making a fool out of myself on a video camera, which I still need to get my hands on, now that I mention it. Funny thing is that as much as I want to get this project to look a certain way, I know that it is going to have to take a great deal of effort on my part to be this way for a camera which I am holding for myself. Not to mention, it will probably be just me filming myself. No way I am subjecting myself to my classmates' ridicule...
Anyway, take a look at the itinerary and let me know what you think.
Have any ideas of places I can go that aren't in Leroux but in another version of Phantom?
Any comments on the itinerary?
Non-Phantomy places you'd like to suggest to me?
I'll take anything :)
